Three years ago, I wrote a song called “Even If I Tried.” I had no idea that three years later, these words would mean even more to me than they did when I first wrote them. Life hasn’t been easy. battling depression, losing people I love, losing my job, losing friendships, and feeling like I’ve had to start all over again, I’ve found myself trying to pick up the pieces while still giving so much of myself to others. I’ve had to take a hard look at the things in my life that have been draining me, learn how to regroup, and figure out how to keep moving forward. And to be transparent, it’s been frustrating. It’s been exhausting. Some days have been harder than others. But one thing I’ve always been grateful for is the gift of music. Sometimes it gives us the words we don’t have the strength to say ourselves. To anyone battling depression, navigating grief, experiencing loss, or simply trying to find yourself again, you’re not alone. My hope is that this song gives language to what you’ve been feeling and reminds you that someone else understands. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who helped bring this record to life. To my label, Mogul House @mogulxco , thank you for believing in me and this project. To LEVÈ @_leve_ , thank you for your incredible work in writing, producing, and mixing this record. To Berlin @berlin.mastering, thank you for mastering this project. To my amazing background vocalists, Caleb Curry @caaalebc, Whitney Wood @itswhitneywood, Kesha Shantrell @keshashantrell , and Markita Knight @kitak , thank you for lending your voices to something that means so much to me. And to my manager, Alan Lu @alnlu_ , thank you for everything you’ve poured into helping bring this vision to life and getting my music career jolted. @sonatagmajor bro you have a more than a videographer you have elevated my entire brand and kept pushing me when i wanted to give up - thank you 🎥📺 I truly couldn’t have done this without you all. “Even If I Tried” is OUT NOW on all streaming platforms. 🖤 Thank you for listening. Thank you for supporting. And thank you for allowing me to share a piece of my story. #fyp #newmusic instagram #instareels
