Bunnies Say Farewell To Five

South Sydney will farewell Keaon Koloamatangi, Salesi Ataata, Liam Le Blanc, Max McCarthy and Moala Graham-Taufa following the end of the Rabbitohs’ 2026 season.

Keaon’s departure will hit particularly hard for Souths fans. A Mascot junior, he grew up in the Rabbitohs system and played alongside captain Cameron Murray as a youngster. He has lifelong ties and friendships at the club and has spent his entire NRL career in red and green. Keaon will now join the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Salesi Ataata is also leaving the Rabbitohs, with reports linking him with a move to Hull KR in the Super League.

Moala Graham-Taufa will also head to Hull KR after spending much of 2026 with the Rabbitohs in NSW Cup.

Liam ‘Blancy’ Le Blanc is another departing Bunny, with reports linking the middle forward with a move to the Penrith Panthers.

Max McCarthy is also leaving the club. At this stage there has been no confirmed word on where Max will play next.

Meanwhile, Cody Walker, Jamie Humphreys and Adam Elliott remain unsigned for 2027. Cody is expected to remain at South Sydney, while Humphreys and Elliott have both said they want to stay with the Rabbitohs.

From everyone at Bunnies TV, thanks to all five departing players for their contribution to South Sydney and for always making yourselves available for a chat, photo or video whenever we crossed paths.

We wish you all the very best for whatever comes next.

Once a Rabbitoh, always a Rabbitoh.
