Some weeks leave a mark on your heart forever. This was one of them.

I’m incredibly grateful to the Lord and to YCI for the opportunity to serve at MOVE conference this week in Kansas. Thank you for inviting me to be part of your mission of equipping students to boldly live out their faith and start Bible studies in their schools. Without that invitation, I never would have experienced everything God had in store this week, and I’ll always be thankful for it.

If you had told me a few years ago that following God’s calling into youth ministry would lead me to Kansas for a week like this, I honestly wouldn’t have believed you. One of the most amazing things about following Jesus is that your obedience often takes you to places you never imagined you’d go and allows you to be part of things you never dreamed you’d experience.

Getting to serve during a week with over 500 students was an incredible privilege. Watching students respond to the gospel, realize they are changed by Christ, and leave knowing they are Kingdom Workers is something I’ll never forget.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

This week reminded me why I love student ministry. My passion for seeing the next generation know Jesus, discover their purpose, and boldly live out their faith only grew stronger.

To every CIY staff member and volunteer thank you. Your joy, humility, hard work, and love for students were evident in everything you did. Thank you for welcoming me so well. The friendships, the nonstop laughs, and the memories are ones I’ll carry with me for a long time.

I left Kansas more encouraged, more grateful, and more convinced than ever that there is no greater calling than helping the next generation know Jesus and boldly make Him known.

What if the places God is calling you to are greater than the places you’ve been asking Him for?

What a week. What a calling. What a faithful God. ❤️

Praise the Lord for the blessings He has put in my life. I am so grateful to have had this amazing experience at @se.church high school camp this year with all of these wonderful people. It is so evident that God is working in and through every person that I was surrounded by this year. 2 years ago I was lost and living my life for a broken world, but since then, God has completely altered my life in so many ways that I could have never imagined. Even in the uncertainty, it is so important to remember all that God has brought you from and that He still remains faithful in the present and the future. It is our mission to live boldly in our faith in Christ, which has led me to have a heart set on pursuing full time ministry to emulate Jesus’ life, showing others His love and bringing them closer to Him. I am so inspired by this generation of students for their passion to walk like Jesus did in following the commandment of Matthew 28:19 to be sent to reach all that do not know Him yet. Again, I am just so grateful for all the ways that Jesus has changed my life, and I can’t wait to see how much more He will do in and through others.
