Introducing @_life_cycle_ who’ll be joining us at @lapanzabristol this Sunday for a vinyl-only set 🌞🌍🌚🐸💫 A new alias, formerly ‘Corrupt Data’, Farrell brings forth a new concept for a new chapter; an updated organic, groove-led dancefloor orientated focus, that still has his signature leftfield, uk rave and party-starting sensibilities. This change-up is intended to keep the last project a time capsule to be enjoyed in retrospect, so ‘Life Cycle’ pays homage to this, all the while keeping both feet very much in the now; embracing the flux of all things.

Been way too long since I witnessed dancefloor energy so strong, non-stop all weekend. I was genuinely gutted when the music had to stop on the Sunday night. The powerful aura of human beings getting together, listening to tunes and letting their hair down, like they’ve done in varying forms for millennia, is one that cannot be beat. The DJs set the bar so high, playing effortlessly it seemed, as the synergy between crowd, setting and mood ever-flowed. Pinned together by the highest level of production, programming and planning by the @madruga.festival team, who keep on building upon their dreamhouse.

The solar orbit is complete and it’s time for the annual DS gathering. On sunday the 20th July, we are excited to present a key figure of the Melbourne music scene; Alex Albrecht- with a live set to beautifully compliment a setting sun and a hazy evening. Dreamy downtempo to uplifting house, infused with an optimistic undertone that’ll be sure to keep things glistening into the early evening. 🌅😌🍃 Alex’s creative output has been flowing for over a decade, whether it be live sets, studio productions or DJ sets. Throughout this period he has established a very distinct sonic palette- a calming, ethereal atmosphere imbued with a deeply emotive, organic beauty. Floating layers of blissful translucence glide like sheets of weightless silk. Waves of delight flow between points of melancholic stillness. Effortlessly merging the boundaries of various genres; from house, techno, downtempo and jazz, wrapped in a beautiful infusion of the unmistakable euphoria and introspective groove of Albrecht’s sound. With performances stretching across the globe- from Vent in Tokyo, Bassiani in Georgia, Monument in Norway... and now in Bristol! We are beyond pleased to host Alex to provide a sonic soundscape for you in the beautiful gardens of La Panza (@lapanzabristol ).
