I said YES to my best friend, my protector, my future husband, and the future priest of our household.

Saying yes to you was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.

There were moments when I was hesitant, but you never wavered. You remained steadfast, faithful, and anchored in the word God gave you concerning us. Thank you for loving me with patience, intention, and consistency.

Obie, I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Forever with my best friend? Yes, please. 🥹

These past two years have held milestones, heartbreak, loss, stretching seasons, and countless moments that have shaped us. Through it all, we’ve witnessed the faithfulness of God. Every season has been for His glory, and every promise has reminded us that His timing is always perfect.

The verse the Lord gave me when what He promised felt so far away was:

“At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” — Isaiah 60:22

He did exactly that.

God is a Promise Keeper, and today I’m living in one of my answered prayers.
