This weekend I premiered my solo show: “Mattchong.” I’ve written this over the past year reflecting on life and what makes me who I am as a mixed race Fil-Am.

One of the lines in my show is: “I thank God I was even there at all.” And I truly am grateful to reflect on my identity and impact others the same way that I’ve been impacted and reflecting this past year. ❤️ thank you to @tucsonfringe and @scrtucson for producing and housing my work.

Fantasy in Pink 2019 Recap: Thank you so much to everyone who attended Beta Eta’s FIP Scholarship Gala. We awarded 2 high school students and 2 college students scholarships based on their academic achievements. Beta Eta prophytes also awarded 3 current BH members scholarships! It was a beautiful turn out and we hope to see you all again next year💗🌸 .

The 24th Annual Black Solidarity Conference at Yale was amazing! I got to meet some new friends and fellowship with some old ones. Plus the topic of mental health in Black communities is one near and dear to my heart. S/o to @umichbsu for the opportunity to attend and to everyone who made it so great! We love Black Excellence ✨

J15 is 9 days away! 💕💚 Today we are highlighting........ Our 6 and Standards Chairman Arlyn Reed, senior majoring in Political Science ✍🏾 and minoring in African and African American Studies.
Next, our 25 and Second Vice President Breanna Gilland, senior majoring in Psychology 🧠 and minoring in Community Action and Social Change.
Lastly, our 26 and Archivist Taylor Jenkins, sophomore majoring in Art and Design 👩🏽‍🎨and minoring in Museum Studies.

Words can't express how proud I am of the young woman you've become. I'm in awe of what you've accomplished and look forward with GREAT anticipation for what is to come. I remember holding you when you born, feeding you as you screamed on the highway, your first fashion show, GOTR, the momentary basketball career (and I do mean momentary), the talks, laughs and tears we've shared to now. Watching you do the same with my children! I'm proud to be Bre's brother! So much more I could say, but this post is long already! I LOVE YOU Boo, Nup da boop, Bregona, TT!

Oh yea, AND if you didn't realize it . . . She's on her way to U of M in the fall! Top 25 in her graduating class!
