For the city and people I love...

"A scattered leaf flicks by,
unconcerned as to why

A corner light hums,
quietly filling the air

The city I've come to know,
caught again in an interlude, a familiar solitude

Soon, earlier than I know. It'll be a memory of a step once taken

A collection of afterimages dancing across the asphalt

Shifting, morphing, aging in time
A city I'll fondly remember, Mine"

I'll see you in a few my loves, until then.

Okay okay I had 2 weeks to process so I am finally making my sappy post. Honored to have watched one of my best friends get married and been not only a bridesmaid but also got to help with their first dance! Congratulations to the cutest couple in the world. You two match each others freaks so completely. I’m so lucky to call you my friends and know I can come over and we can spend hours talking about nothing instead of watching whatever show we said we would.

2 moves. A near brush with homelessness. Started a podcast. Met some of my best friends in the world. Had killer times with old friends and family. And pro wrestler Tyler Lidol smeared his blood on my face. 2023 was a lot but it was cool. See y’all in 2024

So.. as I’m sure you’ve all been able to tell, this has not been the easiest summer. I had to move twice, and as a result I wasn’t really able to enjoy what will end up being my final summer in the city. I didn’t do as much as I wanted to do, and I wasn’t able to make all the things I wanted to make.

That being said if you asked me if I’d rather be where I was a year ago I’d probably spit in your face and tell you fuck no.

So, instead of posting about my experiences, I decided to post pictures of my friends and family who have helped me through this very difficult time. I love you all and can’t thank you enough. Big things are coming this fall and i can’t wait for you all to see them come to fruition. Sad girl Fall is right around the corner and I hope you’re excited to get weird with me. Dumbest girl alive… forever.
