‘same roots, new branches’ art exhibit

had a great time seeing my family, friends + new faces getting together to enjoy our artwork. i always enjoy being intentional about the little details— the ones that may go unnoticed but often appreciated and make all the difference

thank you to everyone who came and stopped by and supported in any way.

thank you featured artist @aleasinae @livelongsoho @taodonyee & sounds by @shesloveley

This project was made possible by the N.C Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources; the Arts & Science Council with funding from Cabarrus Arts Council.

guests had the opportunity to write postcard prompts:

- what saying did your grandma, auntie, uncle, or parent always say?
- what tradition do you hope continues after you?

What’s up Class of 2016! I hope that y’all are well and flourishing across your endeavors 🤝🏾🥹 Paola and I are excited to bring y’all together this summer for our class reunion. We’re in the process of finalizing details for the event and wanted to open the floor for y’all to drop anything you’d be interested in having at the reunion.

This includes specific segments, themes, tributes, etc.

We also wanted to give everyone the chance to mingle beforehand so be sure to hop in our follower list and connect with some of your fav former classmates in the meantime!🤞🏾🏆 Please share this page and our GroupMe with any classmates you don’t see listed.
