Can’t really describe how natural it feels to be in this place that I’ve never been before: on stage, behind the decks, pushing some of my favorite artists through a big sound system. It’s like I simultaneously can’t believe it and it’s also so obvious that I’m meant to be there.

Thank you to @subharmonicsessions @dnmpresents and @_littlesounds for having me. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to put this event together. Thank you to my man and my friends for being my biggest supporters. Thank you to each of these artists who have massively inspired me to pursue this dream of mine ( specifically @huck.jorris.music @skysiamusic @illohsound @mayple_dubs @emptidub @phurn_ @cutrugs and @theaudiogoblin )

A recording of my mix can be found on SoundCloud. Link can be found in the linktree in my bio.

SoL 🌞 Sounds of Light

A (very) little behind the scene look at some of the prep that went into this set. I spent a lot of hours honing and refining it so that the tracks would all melt together perfectly.

Only my man gets this view lol

Made a last minute switch up right before the set and it was SUCH a vibe

@_littlesounds @subharmonicsessions we had that place jumping last night. Not a set disappointed! @m3owm1xofficial @sparkle.puss knew exactly what to bring and slayed. @d.pad.beats was cooking PROPER! @gzzrd_dubs ended the night with some intense pressure.

We have some unfortunate news, due to hurricane lsaias path Tripping Sax's flight has been severely disrupted, and we collectively made a call to adjust the lineup for tonight.

@d.pad.beats will be taking the 12-1 spot, and @m3owm1xofficial will be playing in the 11-12 spot. Although we are sad that we won't get to hear the saxophone tonight. We are more than excited for M3OW M1X to play for us, and a D.pad Live set as well.

A little bit more about M3OW M1X:

M30W M1X is a Baton Rouge-born artist and designer turned DJ, who hustles between her passion for curating music for a crowd and creating her festival clothing line, Sparkle Puss. Known for her electrifying stage presence and innovative style, Sparkle's feline prowess is an ethereal force to be reckoned with in the music scene. Her sets seamlessly blend bold sounds with feminine energy, spanning from funky UGK grooves, to face melting dubstep basslines, to dance floor shaking drum and bass rolers. No matter the genre, she's sure to get the whole crowd moving and meowing.
