A brilliant weekend spent across the border in Victoria chasing Honkers in layout blinds and decoying other duck species on the lake with @_live.a.little . We ended up with a great feed of 18 birds to take home. Big thanks to Troy from @honkerhunters for having us down. He was a fantastic host and we can’t wait to have another crack at it again next year.

Stoked to take my first Himalayan Tahr from the southern alps of New Zealand.
By far the most spectacular country I’ve ever seen, great to be able to spend some time in the mountains with some mates @mtngear.nz @_live.a.little . 🏔️ 🏕️ 🐐

Backcountry missions don’t get much better than this. Especially for a first trip to New Zealand.

After a 4WD to a hut and a push up towards a small glacier system, @_live.a.little glassed this bull tahr on day one, kicking off an epic 4-day hunt in some seriously rugged alpine country.

"He jumped up and rolled down a rock slip and got caught up on a boulder, I made my way across as the sun was setting, we still had 3 more days of epic hunting where my 2 mates secured a bull tahr each. In my bag I had the Storm jacket incase things got spicey and the Zenith top for the pack out."

New Bullet Points Podcast episode with Mitch has just dropped.

Duck hunting, deer trips, 60+ camels… and learning everything the hard way.

We cover:
• Why SA hunters are missing out
• How fast you can level up if you just start
• The gear that actually matters (and what doesn’t)
• A controversial idea: “Net Zero Duck Hunter”

No fluff. Just real experiences and what actually works.

So young Hayden and myself got the opportunity to head out on a boat and go after a game fish that was always been a bucket list dream thing to go after aswell as other species.
I was anticipating a long wait as it was a whole new experience for me but wasn’t prepared for how quick I had to get on deck and grab the rod. And wasn’t at all prepared for the fight I was in for. A constant back and forth of reeling in line and losing it again lasting somewhere between 30 to 40 minutes.
By the end of it all with the rod set down and the incredible Marlin back swimming beneath the surface I can say it was one of the most hardest yet most adrenaline driven experiences I’ve ever had. And greatly appreciated the work of everyone aboard the “Warlord” that was part of it and grateful that I could share the adventure with a top bloke and mate.
