POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
My wife was fresh off a 20-hour road trip and immediately shifted into making sure everyone and everything was cared for.

Vet, my Ace, college teammate, and former roommate, pulled up with her sister in tow.

Stacie, my Tre, rearranged her schedule to be in the room.

Toni, my sister keeper, landed jet-lagged from Paris and still made it.

Michele, my front, has never missed a milestone moment.

Kym, believed in Nap Bar when it was just an idea and celebrated her birthday by supporting me from the red dot.

Chelsea, one of the first reporters to feature Nap Bar in 2019, surprised me with a heartfelt introduction. Now she’s hosting her own talk show on FOX and introducing me before my TEDx talk. Full-circle.

Samantha, wrote a beautiful AfroTech feature on Nap Bar and stayed all day capturing content.

Carrie, drove in from The Woodlands and attended my talk even with her son home from college.

Sara, my sponsor, mentor, and friend, answered a 3 AM wake-up call, boarded a flight from Miami, and showed up.

My TKB crew did what they always do: showed up. Mad love to @_iamspectacular for ironing all of the tees.

My PA sisters (Jazz & Bo) were in the room. When I saw them, I saw my mom.

Hunter, my nephew was slangin’ tees.

My HTX family was there.

Toni, my surrogate mother, sent me one of the most powerful prayers I’ve ever received that morning.

Mama B, my bonus mom, hug blessed me with unconditional love and unwavering support.

And then there was my dad, who leaned in and whispered, “I’m sooo proud of you, kid.”

This is what relationship currency looks like.

Years of building genuine connections without keeping score.

Then one day, those same people rearrange schedules, board flights, cross oceans, send prayers, and celebrate your moment as if it were their own.

The magic on that TEDx stage and throughout Napchella wasn’t created by me alone. It was fueled by the energy, prayers, love, texts, calls, flights, road trips, sacrifices, and presence of the people in these photos.

Thank you for being in the room.

Thank you for believing in the vision.

Thank you for helping me carry a dream years in the making.

I’ll never forget it. 💜
