#265 - Tangle Drop x @_loontab_

24h auction on @rarible
(Link in bio)

“A flaneur walking through urban space, collecting all those shapes and colors of plastic junk, misdriven bleached graffiti. Random marks on concrete walls. They find their place in tangled sculptures. Turning into a map among breathing organs and vibrating nerves.”

✴️ This stunning hero #Monumentalis looks like a statue from a museum of modern art! Meet its author @_loontab_ ⠀
⠀

Loontab a.k.a. Olly Schubert is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Munich.
His signature style is created in both spontanious experiments and conceptual art.

He combines various techniques. Odd 3D geometry meet smeary pencils, spray paint textures and tiny marks.
Loontab's animations are a playful choreography with simply drawn creatures companioned by flickering lines and abstract shapes travelling around.

Conceptional workflow means for him starting with something very simple and experimenting with it until it becomes a story that he finds appealing enough to be continued.
Allowing for creative development and happy accidents to have the greatest space possible.

After his fine-art studies at the "Hamburg University of Fine Arts" he started a career
as a motion-designer where he did art-work for companies such as adidas, disney and sky TV. ⠀
