North Carolina A&T State University has officially named its next student leader. Loren Kennedy Long has been elected as the 2026-2027 Student Government Association President.

A RECORD OF LEADERSHIP. Loren’s journey through student government is a testament to her dedication and “Servant Leader” spirit at every level:
• 2026-2027 SGA President-Elect (Elected)
• Judicial Council (2025-26)
• Sophomore Class President (2024-25)
• Servant Leader Award Recipient (2024-25)
• Freshman Class Secretary (2023-24)

THE WINNING PLAYBOOK. Loren’s campaign centered on the N.F.L. acronym, focusing on a strategic approach to student advocacy:
• Networking with students.
• Facilitating spaces for meaningful change.
• Launching opportunities to accelerate Aggie success.

CULTIVATING CHANGE. Beyond the office, Loren’s leadership extends across the yard as an Honors Junior Bioengineering student with a 3.7 GPA. She is a proud member of the Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, has served on the E-board for the Society of Women Engineers, and is the Vice President of Service Spree Ch. 2 Inc.

AGGIE EXCELLENCE. As Loren prepares to lead the student body, her purpose is clear: to make a long-lasting impact by intentionally advocating for Aggies and creating opportunities that expand their future far beyond East Market Street.

Congratulations to the SGA President-Elect, Loren Kennedy Long, on this historic victory!
