$After 8 years of football a fractured shoulder brought football to an unexpected end. It’s hard knowing I didn’t get to finish the season with my brothers I started it with. I’ll always be thankful for everything this sport gave me. To my Canes teammates, thank you for making the last 2 seasons some of the greatest years of football for me. Every game, every practice, I had the opportunity to line up with y’all, I’ll forever be grateful for that. To my D line it was a honour battling in the trenches with you guys. And to the Stallions, where it all started, thank you for an unforgettable 6 years. It’s where I first fell in love with the sport, I grew up on those fields, made friendships and memories that I’ll carry forever. It built me to the player I am today. To all of my coaches, thank you believing in me and pushing me to become a better player. Thank you Canes for this opportunity to play ball one last time. To my family, thank you for supporting me through all of it. No matter what, always showing up, making those long drives and nights to catch my games. After 6 years with the Stallions and 2 years with the Hurricanes, it’s come to an end. It’s not the ending I wanted, but 8 years I wouldn’t trade for anything. #56 out.$
