Our younger selves are somewhere freaking out right now ❤️

Before Anything Happens is an Official Selection of the 2026 @hollyshorts Film Festival. ✨

What began as a deeply (and embarrassingly) personal story became something so much bigger because of the incredible people who chose to believe in it. Every person who joined this project brought something to it that we never could have created on our own, and we’re endlessly grateful for the love, trust, talent, and support that made this film possible. 🫶🏻🎬

To our cast, crew, supporters, friends, and family, thank you for believing in us before this was anything more than words on a page. We truly couldn’t have done this without you! 🥰

We’re so excited to share Before Anything Happens with audiences in Hollywood this August, and we can’t wait for what’s next 🎥

With so much gratitude,

Megan LuLu Taylor & Samantha Joia 🎞️

p.s. thank you times a million to our lovely poster designer @cassidyrouth
