PROUDLY INTRODUCING FINALIST #10….

🇬🇧MADDIE FRY🇬🇧

“Hi guys, I’m Maddie!

I’ve lived in North Devon most of my life, and was lucky enough to live on the Isle of Wight 🏝️ for over 18 months a few years ago.

I’m a part-time, self-taught content creator with over 11k on TikTok, uploading lifestyle content to not only inspire others but also to look back on myself. 📸 I’ve been lucky enough to experience working with brands I would dream of, and not only take myself on exciting PR events and trips, but also let my family and friends experience what it’s like as my plus-ones too. I genuinely live off “YOLO” at this point ✌🏼

As well as this, I also have the rewarding job of working with the elderly at a care home, serving their teatime meals and planning their activities each week. To see them achieve things, laugh, and smile will always be one of my favourite things in my job role. 🤍

I was approached by Miss Devon to have the opportunity to compete in Miss Great Britain Devon, which is crazy for little me — the girl who just started posting for fun, enjoying making little YouTube videos back in lockdown. 🤪

Growing up being diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia, struggling with school and not being a fan of the classroom environment has always made me want to work harder in things I enjoy and have a passion for, to succeed in. 🤳✨ I was also a gymnast for just over 10 years 🤸‍♀️ and a baker 🧁, which really helped me throughout the years at school.

I’m here to prove that grades don’t define you, and if opportunities scare you, just do it and don’t take life too seriously”
