We’re so quick to support celebrities, influencers, billion dollar brands and corporations that will never know our name.

We repost them, promote them, buy from them and tell everyone about them.

But when it comes to our own friends, family and people in our community stepping out, starting something of their own or chasing a dream, I think we can all pour a little more energy there too.

Behind every small business is a person with a dream. Someone backing themselves. Someone believing enough to create something better for their life and their family. Someone trying to build a legacy, create opportunity and pour something meaningful back into their community.

And support doesn’t always cost money. It’s free to like, comment, share, repost, refer someone or recommend them. It all matters.

I think we need to become a little louder and make a bigger deal about our own people, instead of constantly celebrating people who don’t even know our name.

Let’s celebrate each other more.
Let’s speak each other’s names louder.
Let’s invest back into our families, our small businesses and our communities.

Because when one of us grows, that impact can reach so much further than just one person. 🤍🙏🏾

The week that was. 🥹

It still feels so surreal.

It’s been a journey, and I’ll never forget the people who have shown up for me with genuine love. Every person who’s walked through the doors of Eaglevale, every woman who’s come into the spaces I’ve created, you’ve all been part of this story.

Gods purpose for me always prevails.

I prayed for moments like this. I believed for moments like this. And I also put in the work.

My heart is so full reflecting on my very first women’s community gathering, Return to Her, and the amount of love that was poured into this space.✨️

I want to take a moment to acknowledge and give a heartfelt thank you to the beautiful businesses who contributed to the well-being bags for the women who attended.
When creating these bags, I intentionally reached out to businesses whose values align with the heart of the work I do within community, businesses who believe in connection, culture, healing, and bringing women together in safe and supportive spaces.

Each offering that was placed inside these well-being bags was shared with care, knowing that it would pour back into the women in the room. Beautiful reminders for them to slow down, take care of themselves, fill their cups, and continue honouring their own journeys.

What these businesses gave was more than products or vouchers. It was a beautiful act of giving back to community and pouring into the women who showed up for themselves in that space.

To every business that contributed your beautiful offerings and products, thank you. Your generosity helped make this gathering even more meaningful for the women who attended.

It truly comes back to community, supporting small businesses and uplifting the people who continue to pour back into community and into the women who walk these spaces together.

From my heart to yours, I am deeply grateful and so thankful for the love and support that was poured back into this event, into the women, and into the community we are building together.

If you feel called to, please follow, support, and show some love to these beautiful businesses. Supporting them is another way we continue to give back to community and uplift the people who pour so much into spaces like these. 🤍
