A lot of people may think this is to much but to each their own this is how I serve the music and approach ballads , a lot of these concepts come from listening to vocalist with orchestras approach these classic standards and that’s what I try to emulate on drums #jazz #drums #twizzheath

🎷 RYAN DEVLIN QUARTET — THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22ND @ 7PM 🎷

ATL, if a cozy night out with world-class live jazz sounds like your kind of Thursday... this is it. Ryan Devlin Quartet, October 22nd, up close and personal at Eddie's Attic. Trust.

A world-class saxophonist who's played Ronnie Scott's in London, Blue Note Milano, and Smalls Jazz Club in New York is bringing his quartet to 177 seats in Decatur. Fiery, straight-ahead jazz in one of the most intimate rooms in the city. Cold drinks, good food, and the kind of music that makes a Thursday night feel like an event.

Grab your person, grab a spot, and come settle in for a great intimate evening of music at Eddie's!

Next up at Rudy’s Jazz Room — November 6 at 11 PM.

We’re bringing Soul Meets Swing back for another late-night set featuring music that lives somewhere between neo-soul, hard bop, and straight-ahead jazz.

Expect fresh arrangements, plenty of improvisation, and a band that isn’t afraid to stretch the music.

Nigel Cathey — Trumpet
Marc Payne — Piano
Leland Nelson — Bass
Daniel Ferreira — Drums
