Finishing Low single legs when your opponent drapes over you and starts trying to crotch control or ankle control. Here’s a solid change over from that scenario.
.
Once you get the foot off the ground and leg in the air your priority should be turning your 3️⃣s into 7️⃣s meaning make sure your takedown is a feet to back technique for maximum point farming.

‼️Drillers are killers‼️We’ve been diligently working on getting up off bottom and bottom reversals here’s a quick drill to use with your team called the Baby Crawl Switch.
.
The goal is to create tons of forward motion and seperation between you and your opponent, this will lead to 3 outcomes…1) your opponent will fail to follow at your pace and you escape for 1️⃣ you get them to follow but they lock hands and you get 1️⃣ or they follow with locking hands and you get 1️⃣ along with your sitout switch for 1️⃣ and 2️⃣.
.
Goofy AF???? Sure. Effective? Absolutely. Have fun drilling and tag me in your training videos and be sure to follow @absupercoach for more wrestling drills leading up to this season‼️

After my last Quad Pod Circle video an old friend and coach told me I needed to show my standing Peterson setups and pinning combinations. So here it is.
.
Like I said as soon as I create space a good wrestler who rides tight is gonna follow and this is where we set our trap. The farside wrist control is paramount. (ALSO YOU CANNOT HIT THIS IS YOUR OPPONENT IS LOOKING FOR A HALF NELSON FROM QUAD POD) as we circle away pull the wrist in like your clicking in a seatbelt and fire your roll catching their leg on the way through.

Today’s Greco Warmup Consisted of body wrap front and back summersaults to warm our lower back and hips up and explosive power in the hips and core and a Judo Drop Seoi Nage Drill (this is not how we do our Greco arms pins) but it is a good warm up.
