It’s Member Monday! Meet Marissa Hall! She is a second year student who is still figuring out her major! She joined Forever Red to meet more people and to have an impact on campus! A fun fact is she spends $50 a week on Starbucks!

I’M SO PROUD OF YOU MIDLAND! I’m so proud of us! Thanks for coming out last night and making the beginning series - WHO WE ARE- such a success!

I was proud of us for various reasons. I was proud that we shared extremely differing thoughts and perspectives- respectfully! I was proud that when it got a little spicy it was productive and open.

What we took part in last night was what the Breaking Bread Village is all about and that made me proud!

It’s a real world we’re living in and we all will not think alike- no matter how much we may want others to share our views. It’ll will never be that way 100% of the time.

Last night we showed what it can look like to disagree. We showed what it looks like to do the work. We tackled some heavy controversial topics and we did it with class, laughter, love, spice, conviction, and passion. That’s beautiful and with that said I will declare last nights opening show a beautiful success- with complexities!!! And the complexities made it beautiful! I’m extremely proud and grateful.

Thank you!

SO I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT GOLF😂🙃! (Well the little that I studied to prepare for this week) I’m extremely “green” to the sport. When I was little and they told me I had to BE QUIET for golf and fishing- I had no interest😂 Even though I’ve grown to appreciate them both.

But what’s beautiful is that I didn’t need to know a thing about golf to make so many connections and have a great time.

Loved connecting with the other organizations that were selected to TEAMUP! We’re all in this together! Also waving to and encouraging my #teamup players, reconnecting with folks I haven’t seen in a while, meeting new people, and representing TBBV! The time has been priceless.

What beautiful weather for opening day and what wonderful moments that’ll last a lifetime!

Someone came up to me and said, “Saw one of your shirts!” And sure enough it was Angie! Thanks so much!

Finishing up today and getting ready for tomorrow!!! Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational

Don’t let “not knowing the rules” to stop you from enjoying the game! Life lessons!
