Exploring Greenland’s raw beauty. When photographer @_marktoren first traveled to the Ittoqqortoormiit region of Greenland, he was struck by the raw beauty and vastness of the land. “Surrounded by towering mountains, drifting icebergs, and changing colors that shifted with the light, the landscape was wild and untouched, and I found myself drawn to its simplicity and scale,” he writes. “It’s a place with a presence, a spirit of its own.” But beyond its natural beauty, Mark was amazed by the lack of fences and boundaries, at how the land was so open and untamed. “This experience made me think about how we connect with nature and our responsibility to protect places like this. Greenland doesn’t need us, but we can learn from it, how to exist with respect, without trying to control.” Which image is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
