Today I am getting discharged. I am so grateful for the incredible emergency team, the loving nurses, the brilliant neurologist, the skilled hands of the neurosurgeon and neuro-surgical team, the rehabilitation team and care coordinators. But… I wouldn’t be here without my tribe… my people who have been here for me every single day over the last month+… both by my side, holding things down on the home front and contributing to the expense: I love you all so much. And for all the people who were here in the worst times when I wasn’t up for photos… 😘. Excited to continue this recovery journey with the ones I love the most. #grateful #blessed #family #mytribe❤️ #friendship

Update: Alisa had a successful 6- hour surgery on Monday. She is still in the hospital and receiving excellent care. Once medically stable, she will be moved to an acute rehabilitation center. Every dollar goes directly to costs and is greatly appreciated.
