The kind of scene that could’ve happened any day — and that’s what makes it worth remembering.

May and her sweet little family. They explored, raced, played, adventured and laughed all afternoon 🌳🪾☀️

When families step in front of my lens, I’m not chasing stiff poses or perfect smiles — I’m looking for the quiet poetry of togetherness. The way little hands intertwine, the gentle pull forward, the laughter that ripples between you. These are the threads that weave your story, and they deserve to be remembered just as they are — artful, soulful, and alive. 🌙🪶

Want to know what they’re not thinking about in this photo?

That moments like this will become “the good old days” they’ll look back on in the years to come.

I read this week that if you wait for the perfect time to get photos with your kids you’ll never get them.

Because the perfect time doesn’t exist.

Tomorrow isn’t promised for all of us and you never know what’s around the corner.

You get one life.

One chance to watch your kids grow up.

Put aside that you’re tired, put aside that you have nothing to wear, put aside you’re not in your best shape.

Your kids DON’T care.
(And I have a client wardrobe that will make you look awake and fabulous)

But they will care about looking back on pictures like this in a year’s time, in five years time, ten years and again when they become parents.

It’s an investment.

In your family and your kids’ future memories.

If you don’t want to do it for you, do it for your kids.

Give them beautiful memories like this to not only look back on but to model to them what a happy family is, so they can see it when they one day seek guidance as new parents.

What memories are you making now for your kids to hold onto in the future?

Spring bookings are filling up fast! DM to lock in your date or link in bio to book.

During a retreat family session, these two were offered a quiet pause to connect with each other. Not as parents, but as partners.
Amid the noise of daily life, it was a moment to remember that before anything else, they are husband and wife.

Luckiest girl in the world; the perks of an early morning flight. ✈️ Big thanks to everyone who took the time to hang out with me and make me feel at home again. Being a part of the weddings were such a treat and I have so many great memories from this trip that have poured into my soul, I'll remember for many years to come.

Onto my next #adventure!
