Day 3 | Word of the Day: Leadership Through Adversity 🏀💙

Adversity doesn’t build character—it reveals it.

Today’s camper interviews gave us an inside look at what leadership really means when things don’t go your way. The answers weren’t about being perfect. They were about showing up, staying positive, and continuing to grow.

🎙️ “Keep going, keep my head high, and never give up.”
🎙️ “Control what I can control.”
🎙️ “Accepting the uncontrollable and moving on.”
🎙️ “It’s going to be okay.”
🎙️ “Working on the little things to get better.”
🎙️ “I talk to myself about what I could do better.”
🎙️ “Working on the things I’m not good at.”

Leadership isn’t about avoiding obstacles. It’s about how you respond when they show up.

Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Every setback is a lesson. And every day is another chance to become a better teammate, player, leader, and person.

We’re proud of our campers for embracing the mindset that success isn’t defined by never facing adversity—it’s defined by how you rise through it.

💬 What does leadership through adversity mean to you? Let us know in the comments.
