This little piece is a gift of appreciation to:

@rustylakecom for creating the Rusty Lake universe itself, letting a beautiful community build around it;

Flawed Peacock on YouTube for the long-ass videos my friend and I listened to for HOURS (and are actively waiting for new ones when Servant of the Lake comes out);

@travellsolomka ( @_mentell_ - art account) for being the one to MAKE me play every single game and MAKE me go all the way to Amsterdam for @indieshowcasenl at @alab_ams - I had some really fun time! It was really nice to have an opportunity to gift the Rusty Lake team the eggs I painted for their contest “Harvey’s Egg” and let my friend and I become the “egg girls”…

And finally @artfight to which I’m looking forward more with each passing day. This piece is a submission to their spring challenge “Sprout Fight 2026”. I used the prompt “metamorphosis”, portraying Mr Peacock and us as little Mr Crow and Mr Owl eggs (Miss Crow & Ms Owl?) below the elixir of life.

MYSTERIOUS EGG 🥚
A short film inspired by the world of @rustylakecom
Created for the Harvey’s Egg contest, this piece explores themes of quiet unease, element that have always defined the Rusty Lake universe for me. As a long-time fan, this project was both a tribute and a personal interpretation of that atmosphere: where small details feel significant, and meaning lingers lays the surface.
What began as a simple idea about an egg slowly turned into a more cinematic experiment: focusing on the feeling of something just out of reach.
Cast & Crew:
The Woman — Solomiia Pavlovska
The Hand / Lighting Design — Alona Levchenko
Mr. Owl / Cinematography / Editing — Akzhol Amirov
This film was created by the three of us only, from concept to final cut.
A special thank you to Akzhol for capturing and assembling the visual narrative, and to Alona for shaping the atmosphere through lighting and performance.
I am really grateful for the opportunity to participate in this contest and to be part of such a creative community. It means a lot to contribute something inspired by a world that has influenced me for so long.
Thank you for watching 🖤

Still can’t believe this trip happened 🖤
Most of all thank you, @tyanshrex for coming with me!
Got to visit the Rusty Lake Exhibition in Amsterdam and it honestly felt like stepping right into the game. Thank you so much to the Rusty Lake team for such a beautiful experience, and especially for showing us your office and giving us a glimpse of it!
I was really happy I could bring a few small gifts for you, and also couldn’t resist getting some of the new merch for Servant of the Lake 👁️✨
Big thank you as well to A Lab/the Indie Showcase for creating such an amazing space for artists and developers. It was so inspiring to be surrounded by so many creative people and to try out so many new games that are coming out soon.

I’m just really grateful I got to be there, experience it all, and share it with friends. Definitely one of those memories I’ll keep for a long time.

A few months ago my friends and I went to the GOAT movie premiere - one of us is obsessed with basketball, the other is a furry and one more who loves the animation. The point is - we all came to enjoy it and had so much fun watching it! It took us some time, but the teamwork has paid off - we made this drawing, imagining ourselves as a part of the GOAT movie universe - our own little team ready for the game!

✨ DTIYS Collaboration ✨
We had such an amazing time working on this #DTIYS inspired by the wonderful @molluscivore ! Your art truly sparked our creativity — thank you for such a beautiful and inspiring piece to reimagine! 💫

This collaboration was so much fun to bring to life together. We loved brainstorming, sketching, and seeing how our different art styles came together in one theme. It’s always so special to create something side by side, blending ideas and learning from each other along the way. 🎨💕

We’re both so thankful for the amazing art community that keeps inspiring us to grow, experiment, and connect with other passionate artists. 💕 Can’t wait to do more fun collabs and creative challenges like this one!
