Cambodia ❤️

I had the honor and privilege to be able to go for helping with a Kids on Fire training and honestly it feels like a piece of my heart is still there even weeks later. Which honestly is how I have felt with every nation I have been to this far and I am recognizing that when you ask for the nations, your heart is burdened for them, broken for them, stirred for them, because the Lord is giving you His heart for His children that He longs to know Him!

On my last flight to Cambodia, the Lord started speaking to me about His love for this beautiful nation and beautiful people here and I became a puddle in my seat! From meals together (and learning that level 2 spice is hotter than anything I have ever experienced), to laughing at jokes, to volleyball with Cambodia rules, to broken conversations with new friends trying to understand each others language, to teaching alongside Liezl in ways I have never dreamed, to laying hands and praying for one another and crying together, to celebrating the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and so much more I watched as the Father gave more of His heart to His people to care for His little children! I watched God speak to His children in ways that they have never experienced before as they sat in His presence! I witnessed prophetic words coming to life about Cambodia! I watched the Lord taking back His bride and claiming a nation as His!

When we got to go out for Kids Ministry on Saturday and Sunday, I got to watch the team put into practice what they had learned all week in the training! There was such a joy in the leaders for their nation to know God and to know His truth! When it came time for leading kids into God’s presence for the first time and listening to them ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit there such a peace that could be tangibly felt as the Lord poured His love out on them! This was only the beginning of them getting to know the Most High God, the Living God! They don’t want idols, they want a real encounter! They don’t want another religion, they want a relationship!

Weeks later, the team is having testimonies about kids hearing God’s voice and saying what God is showing them and speaking

1 year ago today…

It’s hard to believe that 365 days have gone by since I first stepped on Zambian soil. Although I had so many people tell me, I could’ve never imagined how special of a place Zambia could be.

I met some of my most treasured friends there, and boy did we make lots and lots of memories together! I never thought I could meet random strangers and click with them so fast…and now I could never imagine my life without them.

For someone who dislikes flying, I am eager to get back on a plane and head to the place that takes up so much residence in my heart.

For the next 13 weeks I’ll have pictures and videos pop up to remind me of all the fun that I had during AMT. Every time I’ll look at them my heart will be filled with a bittersweet feeling of how I both love and miss my friends and second home.

Thank you Lord for calling me to the nations and thank you for blessing me so abundantly with these precious people.

Zambia, you were so kind to me, and I can’t wait to see you soon ❤️
