Hi friends, it’s been a while!!
Ozzys big life update!

Ozzy is now 5 years old!! Ozzy had a rough go with tearing both icls requiring surgery and now as many aussies experience being diagnosed with genetic seizures.

But still! He’s a very loved and happy dog! He’s been the best help as I (mikayla) and the boys studied! I finished university, Bennet graduated high school and is in occasional studies at college learning a variety of creative skills and Preston graduated grade 8 and is on his way to grade 12!

Along the way, he’s been the greatest comfort to all three of us through many hard and good times! Our mom got sick for a while, when she came home from the hospital after a month away instead of getting the zoomies like he does every time I come home, he was so sweet and gentle and has been taking very good care of our mom!
He made a few besties along the way of sweet friends who come to visit us. His favourite being my Husband @_aleksharpe whom I married this past fall!

even though Alek only LIKES Ozzy, it’s evident that Ozzy absolutely LOVES him!

Further We’ve had a few of our friends cross the rainbow bridge along the way many being way to young, but we know scooter Gus is with them bossing them around keeping them all in line and well behaved🥹🥹

Now- I don’t live with Ozzy anymore 💔 but I know he’s being well loved back home and we love our sweet visits back home with my family and Ozzy!!

Here’s to more posts of our crazy boy (at least whenever I go to my parents!) 🫶🫶

“You’re going to be a Pastor and preach the Gospel.”
Those words were spoken over me not long after I came back to church—and honestly, I didn’t want it. I wanted my old life back. But I’ve come to realize… that life was never mine. It belonged to Christ.
Fast forward to September 2023—my first week at Bible college. Young, ambitious, and hungry to grow. The journey wasn’t easy. Long nights, stretching seasons, building my faith while pouring into others. But through it all, I learned something: it was never about the title. It was always about being a disciple first, and a servant always.
Now, 3 years later—after prayer, fasting, growth, marriage, and many transitions—I’ve been officially credentialed as a Pastor with the PAOC.
I’m beyond grateful to everyone who has poured into me, supported me, and walked this journey with me—my pastors, leaders, family, and my incredible wife.
Most of all, thank you Jesus—for taking a broken story and writing something greater.
All glory to Him.❤️

It’s been an honour… 💌

2025 has truly been a year of change. From getting engaged, to getting married, to moving into our new apartment—God has been writing a beautiful new chapter for us. 🩵✨
One of the biggest changes has been stepping out of my home church, Abundant Life Gospel Centre, a place that shaped me, loved me, and gave me my foundation in ministry. Leaving isn’t easy, especially knowing how some of my youth may feel. I love you all deeply, and you will always have a piece of my heart.
But with change comes calling. I’m excited to share that I am stepping into a new season as the Next Generations Director/Pastor at Malvern Christian Assembly. With a bit more work on my credentials, I’ll officially step into the full role of Next Gen Pastor—and I couldn’t be more grateful.
I’m blessed to walk into this new journey with my wife by my side, and we are both excited for what God is about to do through us.
Thank you for every prayer, every hug, every moment. Here’s to growth, new beginnings, and God-sized plans.
