🇩🇪🇵🇱 GERMAN TYPHOONS AT POZNAŃ - KRZESINY

✈️ Fourteen Luftwaffe Eurofighter Typhoons from Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 73 “Steinhoff” have temporarily relocated from Rostock-Laage to Poland’s 31st Tactical Air Base at Poznań-Krzesiny.

🚨 The deployment began on 12 October, prompted by scheduled runway works at their home base in Germany. The roughly three-week stay allows the unit to continue flying and train alongside Polish aircrews.

📰 According to German broadcaster NDR, the deployment involves up to 250 personnel. The aircraft are scheduled to return to Laage on 30 October.

Pictured at Krzesiny are some of the visiting Typhoons, including one wearing a special colour scheme. Which shot is your favourite?

The BAF once operated a dozen C-130s for nearly 50 years before the last aircraft was retired in December 2021. The Hercules was replaced by the A400M Atlas in a joint procurement program with Luxembourg for eight aircraft.

An amazing privilege to at last after all these years catch up with this hide and seek A320! Each time it’s visited in the past I’ve always managed to let it slip by days, even minutes! Not anymore at last.

Certainly one smart looking Royal jet with all the right designs and features in all the right places.
It’s core use is to transport the Ruler or Sharjah based in the UAE for summits and state visits.

BIRTHDAY POST! 🎁🎊

Another year of being older and I still feel as young compared to when I first started this hobby, hunting planes and making great friendships along the way with you lovely people! Keeping me energetic!

Thank you for another birthday to those I’ve known purely until now! It’s been such a blast and I hope I’ll be able to build, connect and celebrate more memorable years with you all in the foreseeable!
