Two years ago, I had the pleasure of doing a cookie decorating class with @_mjcookies and I learned so much! Royal icing was totally new to me, and there’s so much more to it than I thought! My biggest takeaway is that the consistency and of your icing is key to making any design work. You really have to think through the process before you begin, whether you want flooding consistency or piping consistency, whether you want to do a wet-on-wet design or wait for each layer to set. It was a great experience, and their cookies were DELICIOUS. I highly recommend them for your sugar cookie needs if you are in the Utah County area.

Happy Birthday to my little Emri! We had a blast spoiling and celebrating her. I can’t believe I have a 3 year old. She’s one energetic, spontaneous gal, I seriously can’t keep up with her. She’s so full of life and is always ready to take on the world. Here’s to 3 baby girl, I can’t wait to make more memories with you. I love you!

I had so much fun with this set up for our grandson’s second birthday! Maybe because I got to do all the things! My first naked cake! Cupcakes! Cake toppers! Banners! Well, I’ve made a few hundred banners in my lifetime haha. We even put this balloon garland together! If you want to know how to make a balloon into a road? TWO words! Washi tape! Syd found a baker for the darling cookies and she absolutely KILLED IT! Some days I wonder if party and event planning for my family is all I want to do! 😉
