I still haven’t gotten over the powerful experience that was #Reflect25 ✨ Pastor Holly preached an amazing word on What Are we Carrying? This season of my life, I have been carrying A LOT; but I have to remember that there are things I can carry, I don’t have to carry it all and I have to allow him to carry stuff for me.

We finally made it out of the group chat! Had a blast with my fav girlies from Jersey 😝 Awesome conversation, delicious food, spicy Mocktails, and amazing friendships growing ❤️🫶🏼 It all started because my girl @trendsetta.kayy was reading “The Magic of Thinking Big” and I just had to strike up conversation with her. God is good with the great people he puts in your life. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼❤️❤️

On July 13th, 2004 my brother Keith was gunned down on Lincoln pl. in Irvington N.J. Even after years, I struggle with it.

Fast forward to July 2017 and Elton walks on the field wanting to play football. After bouncing around for a bit he landed on the defensive line with me. 4 years later he was a freshman starting Howard University on full scholarship. 3 years later he’s graduated with honors! *Irvington 2017-2019*

Michna, Elton’s younger sister started with us the same year. She was one of best football mangers in my entire career and helped build Irvington to where it is now. Won the Nesbit Digital scholarship award and now has graduated from Essex County College. Monclair state degree is currently loading! *Irvington 2017-2020*

Tiana, the youngest of the 3 started while she was in the 8th grade. One of the most important people in the program’s history. Not only her loyal 5 years of service but training several of her peers as she moves on. She’s also one most influential people of start and growth of Nesbit Digital Sports. She also founded her own, extremely successful, small business, TT’s Sweet Treats. She’s graduated from HS and now move on to higher education while keeping her eyes on real estate! *Irvington 2019-2023*

For the last 7 years of my life I’ve had a “Jean-Baptiste” with me almost every day. Doing my best to ensure, push the hell out of them to be the best versions of themselves. In my heart I know I’ve done that.

My brother Keith and I are from Nesbit. Elton, Michna, and Tiana are from Lincoln Pl. Across the street from where Keith died. I don’t believe this be a coincidence, to me it was a message from my creator. I pray that he’s pleased because I am so grateful.

The pain will never go away but as long as I always put my people first the love will always overpower it. Thank you for everything Jean-Baptiste’s!!! Love you all. #Irvington #Love #Legacy

I am proud to announce that Michna Jean-Baptiste has received the First Annual Nesbit Digital Scholarship Award! This 2020 Irvington High school graduate finished with a 3.2 GPA and spent 3 years volunteering for the school’s football and wrestling teams.
.
This $1000 scholarship, which will be raised a minimum 50% annually, will go to one deserving Essex County student attending a public school.
.
I challenge all the small business owners stand up and be part of this movement. It doesn’t take much to give back and invest in OUR future. BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE!!! ✊🏾✊🏿✊🏽✊🏼
