One last photo dump of Croatia 🇭🇷🤗🙃

Despite a few rude encounters and our car getting towed 🙈, we still had the best time ever and made the best memories ever ! 🤗❤️

We hiked, explored, found yummy vegan spots, shopped, took an amazing walking tour , learned a lot of history , and found gyms to get our workouts in. We went to the beach, strolled and shopped in the rain, and fueled our adventures with coffee , matcha and sugar-free Red Bulls. ☕️🤪

We visited a beautiful national park filled with waterfalls and breathtaking views, had deep talks, analyzed the local fashion, and made the best memories along the way! 🩷

My friend has been living abroad and traveling all over for about a year and a half, so I’m so happy I finally got to meet up with her on one of her destinations and explore Croatia together!🤗 so fun!🤩

Forever grateful for this adventure, our friendship, and memories I’ll cherish forever. 🇭🇷❤️ love you so matcha 🍵 @_mondaymatters #croatia #adventures #friends #friendship #memories

Unbelieveable day trip to the beautiful Matasanos Waterfall. Only two hours drive from Medellín. An amazing 14km hike with dreamy views throughout. We enjoyed a well deserved soak in the waterfalls & rivers at the end. Thank you to everyone who joined & to our friends at Antioquia Travelers for another wonderful trip 💛💙❤️

As a sensitive child myself, I grew up needing emotional safety that wasn’t always there. That experience stuck with me and inspired my career in psychology. Over the years, I’ve worked with countless children who struggled with their emotions, feeling misunderstood or invalidated by their families. In many of these cases, the parents were doing the best they could, but they just didn’t know how to create that emotional safety their kids needed.

Why I Created Brainstorms and Breakthroughs 🧠

Through my work with families and my personal experience, I realized that emotional safety—the ability to feel heard, understood, and supported in moments of big feelings—is something every child needs. But for many parents, this isn’t an easy thing to offer.

Brainstorms and Breakthroughs was born from a deep desire to help moms like you build that safe space for your child—even when you feel overwhelmed, unsure, or like you’re just not doing enough. I want to give you the tools, knowledge, and support to stop reacting from a place of stress and guilt, and start responding with intention, patience, and confidence.

Why It Matters

Our kids need emotional safety to thrive—just like I did growing up. As parents, we’re their emotional guides, but we can’t guide them to a safe, regulated place if we’re not equipped with the right tools.

Through Brainstorms and Breakthroughs, I’m here to help you create that safe space and develop the skills to respond to your child’s big feelings in a way that promotes emotional growth, connection, and resilience.

This course is for moms who are ready to move beyond the overwhelm and step into a more grounded, intentional way of parenting. Together, we’ll work through the challenges, build stronger connections, and transform your family dynamic—one breakthrough at a time.

As a modern woman facing the pressures of the mythical “perfect mom” image, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

Many moms find themselves stretched thin, juggling work, household tasks, and their children’s needs. They wake up early, race through the day, and collapse at night, often grappling with guilt as they struggle to meet everyone’s demands while neglecting their own self-care.

No matter the challenges you face, prioritize self-care. It’s not selfish; it’s essential! Remember, your well-being is key to your children’s happiness.

Sure, your kids might feel disappointed when you carve out time for yourself or say no to their requests. But these moments can be powerful lessons in coping with disappointment.

Your children will notice your steadiness, learning to prioritize their own needs by observing your habits. In the long run, your relationship will thrive because they’ll know they can rely on you.

That’s why I created a FREE masterclass to explore how your mental health and self-regulation form the foundation for intentional parenting and secure attachment with your child. Join me on November 10th, and let’s embark on this journey together!

Like we need a reason to exchange inappropriate tees, go to Catalina, have too much fun, just to say happy birthday to Nikki! “We purposefully planned 53 dolphins to jump out of the water at the same time for your birthday.” - Nadelle 🐬

YOU ARE NOT ALONE. 💖

I am still overwhelmed with joy and gratitude from this morning. 🥰 It truly was an honor to be in the same room with all of you and to hear your incredible womb stories. 🥹 Thank you for trusting me to hold space for you and for allowing yourself to be open & vulnerable with the group. 🫶🏽

At the beginning of this year when I created my vision board, I put a quote on it that reads “You are not alone” and gathering with all of you today served as a reminder of that. Each one of our stories is extremely unique but also the same in that our womb needs healing. My hope is that by continuing to gather with each other, we can help lift each other up as we continue on this journey. As I mentioned today, this is a lifelong practice and so I look forward to a lifelong sisterhood with all of you. 💖

Here’s to connecting to our womb, taking back our power, and creating a future where womb care and conversations about our s3xual health are as normal as talking about the weather! Don’t be surprised if we meet for coffee/tea and I’m like, “Hey girl! How’s your v@gina?!” 😀🙃🫶🏽

Con muchisimo amor,
Erika 💜
