I am just here thinking of how 2021 went honestly.
2021 was not “that” year for me. At the same time, 2021 was my best year yet! I have been focusing on the bad side for so long and it has honestly been draining. Right now, I choose to focus on the good things I experienced, good situations I found myself in.

Before now, my attention has been how debilitating my health has been. Since I started battling with mental illness, this year had the most number of worse experiences. Right from number of suicidal attempts, overdosing, admission to hospital and relapses. It was honestly a tough one for me especially in the aspect of relapse.

I know quite a number of people that feel the same way I feel. We feel that God wasn’t faithful to us this year. You feel like he was very partial this year and you were part of the people that fell on his bad side. Instead of thinking that way, why not sit and think about all the good things that happened to you this year?

This year was that year that I experienced the most peace and joy. I met amazing and God-sent people this year. It was this same year I finally returned back to school after staying at home for two years. It was this year my sister graduated from school with a wonderful result. It was this year I had my hospital outreach which went well. I honestly have so many things to be thankful for!💜💜💜

I honestly don’t feel good. I am currently at my worse but that is not stopping me from being grateful to Abba.

If you ask me honestly, I am not excited about the new year honestly but that’s a talk for another day.

Do a heart search right now and type in the comment section what you are grateful for in 2021?

I can finally show you all my Christmas look yesterday😍😍💜💜.
Fun fact:
I didn’t go anywhere, I only dressed to take pictures. Immediately after taking pictures, I removed my clothe abeggg😂😂💜💜💜.

I am going to imitate my rich aunty @jemimaosunde by posting a #1of3 , #2of3 and a #3of3 because I can😌😌💜💜. So get ready to be open away! This is just 1 of 3!

I danced yesterday guys! I thought I was drunk and no I don’t drink. I was just too happy! The joy I have been feeling for some weeks now is definitely unexplainable and comes from Abba! I haven’t felt this way in such a long time honestly.

All I see God doing is replenishing all that I lost this year because honestly, this year was a tough one for me but I won! I am so grateful to God that made me see the last Sunday of the year. I can’t believe I am actually still here, God has been so faithful to me beyond tears(I actually feel like crying right now).

I am posting this to say that no matter what you face or go through in life, never turn away from God. Never run away from him. Instead, that is the best time to move closer to him. He is there at all times, you just have to let him take control my dear friend. We are celebrating Christ this season, if you haven’t accepted the life of Christ, you are wrong.

Life with Christ is way sweeter than the life you think is best for you right now. I can’t imagine my life without Christ. Christ is my advantage, it might seem and sound partial to the unbeliever but I stand by my word. You can be a partaker of what Christ did long time ago! Its effect is still in place! Accept the life of Christ today and join the #neverdiegang . Join the family of Christ today💜💜.

If you are looking for a doctrinally sound local church to attend, Circle Church Global @circlechurchglobal is the best place for you and is family to you! You can join us both physically and opportunity has been made to make service seamless for our online members💜💜.

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope we had a joyous and fun filled celebration💜💜.
Share this post to that person you know needs to hear about Jesus today💜💜.

I told you guys I was coming back with a bang!!! This is one of it😊💜💜.

As the flier says, "Answering Mental Health Questions with Shindara".

So the question is;
Is it an IG live??
Well, the answer is NO!!!

Is it an IGTV series??
YES babyyyy!!!

Starting from the first week in May (sounds so far but you have to bear with me🥺🥺), I will be releasing a video every week where I get to answer all your mental health related questions.

But this is the thing yhh,
I am not inside your mind so there's no way I can know those questions that have been bugging your mind(except by the holy spirit Sha).

For your questions to be answered or featured in the video;
All you have to do is send the questions to my DM with your name or to my email(ibiyemishindara@gmail.com).
You can choose to remain anonymous, it's fine.

What's my goal?
My goal is to make sure everyone knows one or two thing about mental health. I really want everyone to be aware about mental health. The stigma has been going on for too long and it has to end now.
So to prevent you from contributing to the stigma, ask those questions now to know whether you are right or wrong 💜💜.

I can't wait to answer your questions!💜💜
Kindly help me share to everyone you know💜💜.

Your favorite mental health advocate,
Shindara💜💜.
