Our remodel isn’t finished, I don’t have any artwork on the walls or tchotchkes on the shelves, but Maya wanted to throw a party to celebrate three birthdays, so we pivoted and hosted 50 of her closest friends in the middle of our mess. 😅

“Just a spritz older” was the theme with party decor in shades of hot pink, orange and light pink. I made a painted banner for the photo backdrop, hung balloon clusters from the light fixtures for POPs! of whimsi, and whipped out a quick centerpiece with flowers and citrus. 🍊

Aperol spritzes were the signature drink and it pains me that I didn’t get a picture of that cute setup with the orange slices, thematic napkins and straws. 😢

The party was a hit, nobody broke the wings off my swan faucet and I loved seeing Maya and her group of high school besties reunited for the first time in months.
