so I turned 20 recently and nope, it's not a big deal! But did I get to live a beautiful and magical birthday this year? Yes, I did. 🌟

Not in my life have I ever stopped yapping! Even as a kid, even as a girl and today, even as an adult, I never once stopped yapping. @pvt.annah_ paranja pole, "Parvathy kk parayaan nthoram kadhakalaa ollath." Athepole I'm here right now, writing whatever's going through my mind right now. On random days, i scroll through my Amma's facebook page; see my baby pictures and ask myself, "did I really have to grow up; especially with a resting bitch face?" My Ammumma even to this day says how I was a mottachi koch when I was brought out of the labour room for the first time. "Aadyam purath kond vann aa pink towel thalenn maattiyappo thalel otta mudi polum illaarn. Mottachi koch aarn. Putthan chatti kamathiyath pole ondaarn" ~ her words; not mine.

"From being the kid who ppl at different kalyanam functions called cute to being the girl who ppl said, "nth jaada aanenn nokk avalkk", I grew upppp!! 10 y/o me wanted to live an Ohm Shanti Oshaana jeevitham. 13 y/o wanted to act and be in front of the limelight by the time I was 18. And 18 y/o me wanted to be surrounded by ppl who genuinely loved and cared about her; wanted to find a solid circle who'd continue being her constant. And today, at 20, I got 'em. To the girl who couldn't set her boundaries cuz she was scared if she'd upset the ppl around her, I'm proud that she could unapologetically be her goddamn self today; raw & unfiltered. A huge shoutout to the very small circle of people who accept me for who I am; in real life. Y'all made me realise how important it is, to validate my own feelings at times. And to the ppl on my instagram, thank you for hyping me up like crazy sometimes even when I'm posting some random cringey shit. Clarification: ppl who get it, get it 😭‼️

A huge shoutout to everyone who made me feel loved! To my amma, who raises the bar so high every year on my birthday. To my boyfriend, who never fails to hug my inner child tightly. To my friends, who go out of their way to surprise me. Love y'all 🫶

Love,
Parvathy
