Honestly, I’ve been lost in my thoughts.

When I joined the Army, I thought I’d never go back to school. I was 100% wrong.

It’s funny I used to love going to school so I could hang out, not because I wanted to do the schoolwork. I didn’t hate the work itself, I hated how long it took me to understand things or finish assignments. But I always remember my mom saying, “You got it. It just takes you a little longer than everyone else.”

Believe it or not, it still takes me some time to catch on to things, even in the Army. With that being said, you can’t rush what God has planned for you. Don’t ever compare your journey to someone else’s, because you never know what it took for them to get where they are.
