Triple-double.

After accidentally creating an in-camera double exposure I began to try and repeat the process, only this time with intention in mind. Though I understood the principles of the idea, I recognized that without having the immediacy of being able to see your images like we have with digital photography, there was a lot more room for error. This was one of the first attempts that I made of creating an in-camera double exposure though I shortly realized thereafter that accidentally my double exposure was actually three images layered and not two.

After months of trying to play with this and understand what I had been doing wrong, I finally have learned the user error that I had been making, but along the way I had some fun results.

It’s crazy how we to torture ourselves trying to be perfect. @_mxolisi_ caught these amazing engagement pics and we’ve been trying to figure out how to “post them the right way.” Today, I’m just happy having these and appreciating what loving @kilah_gramz looks like from the other side. Even on the tough days, I’m happy and proud to be the one blessed with the task.

This was an absolute monster of a crew for these live session recordings!! Big thanks to NFS RANCH STUDIOS for their expertise. @tylercates did another outstanding mix/master on the raw files and brought the tracks to life! (Link in bio)

Project Wonderful: Day 195, 4 Years Ago...

March 16, 2017 was my ATL album release. How has it been that long since I released a record? In so many ways it feels like yesterday and then again, it feels like a lifetime ago. The good news is that we are so close to being able to do this again. The other good news is that I have a new album coming out this year. I miss you all and am so ready to grab a drink and play some damn music in a damn bar. Soon 💥
