BTS of our @melbfringe tour from the stunning and highly talented @paprika.clips ! She's our new recruit, previously, she placed in our media/reel competition and we haven't let her go! One of us even snagged a relationship with her ( yes, sorry fam @jaxx__wild is off the market) Speaking of market though! The @meatmarketmelb was just the most perfect venue to host us. We felt really held and supported the whole time, and we'd be back in a heartbeat! Thank you, Melbourne Fringe, for buying our show! We've never been on tour before, and it was a dream come true to come with the financial backbone. To be able to dip our toe into producing outside of South Australia, seemed like a goal we wouldn't achieve for a long time and we'd like to start by thanking @adlfringe for awarding us with the Best of Variety overall award! We feel really seen - it made all of the hard work we've put into the show feel like a pay off. This tour happened because of all of the performers and sponsors that have dedicated their blood sweat and tears towards our previous shows. A show like ours doesn't happen overnight, and there were a lot of big calls to win that award initially. We went from a rotating cast to a fixed cast, a back to back solo act show to large group numbers with calculated choreography by @roxie.bordeaux as well as previously @nikitapippett . Rehearsals went from unpaid, to paid, to a "profit split" that we never got. These performers earned their stripes. I absolutely could have written a show with more of our incredible Victorian artists - but I hope you all understand that I needed to deliver this show. And my golly - it was such, such a smooth, jaw dropping, tear jerking, awe inspiring show. I wish you could have seen it (if you missed it). @_nat_oakes_ took the big role of our fire breathing MC so beautifully! I feel like I need to make it a requirement that our MC can fire breathe now 😅 @clara.fable you would be so unbelievably proud of your prodigy! She was charming, sweet, and so relaxed and relatable. It was fresh, funny and my gosh is she an incredible dancer 🫢 We got lucky! Thank you to our sponsor @spin_circus_festival too! ♡ Kraken
