I've typed out, deleted and retyped this caption so many times, telling myself it's not that deep.
But it actually is.
To me, it's so so important.

Not only to be given the creative trust
but someone trusting you to be a safe space, where they can be unapologetically themselves.

I feel so much gratitude for this day. Again, for Savanna & Rachel to trust me fully, for someone who has never photographed a gay wedding and allowing me to learn on the spot & understanding the dynamics of their relationship, all the while being able to utilize that uniqueness through my creative lens.

This wedding will hold such a special place in my heart.
Because I realized, when two strong elements, like art & love come together in a space where there are no conditions or boundaries - it creates something so astronomically exquisite.

So here's to the first, of (hopefully) many gay weddings I get the privilege of photographing. 🌈
