Check out this beauty!

We took Ron’s Preston Craft, removed the MerCruiser 6.2L sterndrive setup with its Bravo Two drive, and got BME NQ involved to transform the back end of the boat. They filled in the old drive opening and extended the hull to accommodate a pair of Mercury V8 300hp outboards.

We then got stuck into tidying up the wiring under the dash, building a new panel and flush-fitting the screens for a much cleaner, more modern helm.

The performance gains speak for themselves, going from a top speed of 29 knots to a whopping 43 knots with the new twin Mercs! 💪
Coastal Coverings also did an incredible job of the flooring.

But for Ron, it’s about more than just extra speed. He spends plenty of time doing remote liveaboard trips up the Cape, so extending his range was a big part of the plan. With the old MerCruiser setup removed, the space was put to good use with a new fuel tank, and when you combine that extra fuel capacity with the impressive efficiency of the twin Mercury V8s, the result is a serious improvement in range and capability.

A big transformation, a heap of work behind the scenes and a fantastic result. This Preston Craft is now set up for some serious adventures up north!

Check out this weapon! 🔥

We recently fitted a pair of Mercury 300 Pro XS V8s to this beautiful 8m Hooker for one of our good customers.

With 600hp of Mercury V8 muscle hanging off the back, this rig has no shortage of power, acceleration or performance. The 4.6L Pro XS V8 delivers strong torque, lightweight performance and instant throttle response a serious combination on an 8m hull.

The twin setup looks right at home on this boat, hanging on an awesome Bobs Machine twin engine jack plate.

The result? A seriously impressive 54 knots! 🌊💨

This engine is a perfect match for the 435 Barra, delivering strong hole shot performance, excellent fuel economy and smooth, reliable power across the rev range. The team completed the full installation and setup, ensuring everything is dialled in and ready for both here and up the Gulf.

Thanks for choosing us for your repower, Alan. We can’t wait to hear what you think.
