snippets of spring and summer! one last big chaos post before the equinox, not nearly enough photos to capture all the joy of the last several months. movies and ice cream and star wars, art and summer twilight and beach reads, long drives and big celebrations and bigger laughs, dreams achieved and time spent alone and friendships deepened, new chapters and pokémon cards and hard work, cat cuddles and dog walks and cicada screams, cocktails and coffees and opening nights, this is starting to sound like i’m adding to seasons of love which is oddly magically relevant and honestly?? yeah!! measure in love!! beautiful seasons of small moments. twenty photos is never enough. grateful grateful grateful ✨

Thank you so much to the incredible team and cast of Spring Awakening and letting me check this dream off my list. Thank you to the Cast for letting me support their immense talents with these terrifying Men I played each night and for letting me be a goofball to balance the terror. Thank you to @zachstolz for the trust to play in the sandbox of all these different characters so I could make people feel "Icky emotions" as I was told after several performances. @kt_bergs, thank you for the music and directing our voices to another beautiful sound @thealexself, thank you for giving us movements and dance that helped us express all our feelings during this show @delaneycirce, thank you for taking such care with us as we worked on this beast and digging into those emotional and physical uncomfortable areas. Thank you to every single person that helped make this show the dream I never thought I could be in. And thank you to those that came and saw and experienced us. Spring Awakening ✨💜 🦋 2026 @woodstockgaarts This experience has been an absolute dream come true. I wasn’t sure if theatre would be in my path again — but wow has this show reignited my love for it. This show came at a perfect time in my life, and I can confidently say I’m not the same person as when I started the process. This show has brought back so much of my light, and I’ll be forever grateful for that. To my castmates, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You all are some of the most kind, hard-working, talented, supportive, and just all around incredible people I’ve ever met, and this experience wouldn’t have been what it was without you. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you, and for the little family we have created. I WILL see you guys soon!!! To Zach, Katie, Delaney, Alex, Charlie, and the rest of the creative team - thank you for allowing me the opportunity of a lifetime and for making this one of the best theatre experiences (and summers) I’ve ever had. Thank you for guiding us through this material with such immense grace, vulnerability, and care. You all are truly the best of the best. _______________________________________ •Photos by @mikewoodld & @sydlee.studios (Mike’s photos will have his watermark in the bottom left corner!) •Directed by @zachstolz •Music Direction by @kt_bergs •Choreography by @thealexself •Intimacy Direction by @delaneycirce •Fight Direction by @kevinroost •Stage Managed by @char.renee04 •Assistant Stage Managed by @jadeite._14 •Orchestral Tracks by @thecbdmusicstudio •Scenic & Lighting Design by @mikewoodld •Costume Design by @chillindner & Gayle Sandlin

Rumors are true. I did indeed look nasty in those khakis. Spring Awakening at @woodstockgaarts was such an important show for me. These people and process has taught me so much about myself from truly every standpoint. I can’t believe I was so lucky to be with a group so close as this one! To this amazing cast- I love you all so, so very much. Every day getting to work with you was a good one! Thank you for making me feel so special and loved, and I do hope you all felt the same :) A very special thanks to @zachstolz, @kt_bergs, @thealexself, @delaneycirce and more for creating such a wonderful environment I couldn’t wait to go back to everyday. You all are so so so amazing, and I can’t wait to work together again. I will FOREVER be thankful for what you created!!! Now, let’s do it again next purple summer???

“All shall know, the wonder of Purple Summer” Living in Ernst’s shoes this summer has been an absolute dream. I’ve spent the entire day trying to come up with words that adequately express what this process and show has meant to me, but in all honesty, this show has changed my life. In a time where I felt alone, this show has brought light back into my life. And that’s mainly due to the people in this cast, the creative team who helped us put on a spectacularly beautiful and joyous show, and the character I played. This shy, gay, and introverted character is so close to my heart now because I relate to him so much. Bringing this show to a community I was graciously accepted in years ago feels completely full circle, and has lit a fire inside of me I thought went out. I love creating art with people who know how to tell such beautiful stories with such care and dedication, singing alongside some of the most kind and genuinely amazing individuals I have ever met, and tripping over those damn pallets every night (I had to). I cannot adequately express what this show has meant to me, but to quote the best scene partner I could have asked for… “When we look back, thirty years from now, tonight will seem unbelievably…beautiful.” Thank you all for an incredible Purple Summer, and it’s not goodbye, but see you later 💜 Spring Awakening August 2026 @woodstockgaarts Directed by @zachstolz Music direction by @kt_bergs Choreography by @thealexself Intimacy direction by @delaneycirce Fight direction by @kevinroost Stage managed by @char.renee04 Assistant stage managed by @jadeite._14 Orchestral tracks by @thecbdmusicstudio Scene and lighting design by @mikewoodld Costume design by @chillindner and Gayle Sandlin
