Noodle Mafia and Glitchaos are the 2 films that me and my 11 classmates created in our last year! It was stressful yet so rewarding seeing the final products. It was a great opportunity and it definitely pushed me to become a better artist and I am so grateful for the amazing team I worked with; without them it would not have been possible. The memories we made are unforgetable and be sure to check out everyone who made these films! Everyone is so talented and I cannot wait to see what everyone achieves in the future.

For Noodle Mafia, I was the production manager and took part in: layout, modeling, animation, lighting, and compositing.
For Glitchaos, I took part in: layout, modeling, animation, lighting, compositing, and sound editing.

GLITCHAOS💥( LINK TO FULL FILM IN BIO)

I never imagined I’d have the chance to be the art director for my own film with an actual team, too. It’s still wild to me that we managed to finish it (well, somewhat finished, lol).

Throughout the whole process, I learned a lot about art, collaboration, and myself. I discovered my strengths, my weaknesses, and most importantly, what I really want to do as my career. I’m super grateful to have even a part of my vision out there. I’ve realized how much I genuinely love worldbuilding and concept art and I know this is just the beginning.

Huge thank you to everyone who contributed and helped with the film, animation, texturing, marketing, and everything in between( you guys areeee crazyyyy and talanted) . And especially to my close friends who supported me mentally through this crazy ride of working on 2 films with just 12 people😭.

I’ll be honest, my full vision for this film wasn’t explored the way I wanted due to certain limitations, but there’s definitely more to come. The hardest part of this journey was learning how to balance everyone’s needs, adapt to different strengths across the team, and not get too stuck in my head about creative decisions. Even though some of the process felt rushed, I’m still really proud of what we’ve accomplished.

Thank you again to everyone who helped, supported, or just showed up. You’ve given me the biggest launchpad into the next chapter of my journey and I promise there’s more coming. 🫶

GLITCHAOS - A Journey I'll Never Forget

Directing Glitchaos was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my creative journey so far. Over the course of 8 months, I worked alongside a small, dedicated team of 12 artists to bring this chaotic, vibrant world to life.

As the director, I had the opportunity to lead and inspire the team while also taking on many other roles throughout production. I served as production manager, animation lead, rigging lead, editor, previs artist, modeling artist, lighting artist, and compositing artist. It was intense, but I embraced every challenge and learned so much along the way.

A huge shoutout to Danny Mai @dsooppy , our talented film creator and art director, whose vision helped shape the style and tone of Glitchaos.

To my team: thank you. Your passion, creativity, and drive made this possible. I’m so proud of what we accomplished together.

This film would not have been possible without the passion and dedication of our team. I’m beyond proud of what we accomplished together. I'm also incredibly grateful to our professors: Dave Baas, Steve Kahwati, Lilian Chan, Rob Silvestri, Sean Craige, Michael Swartz, Rob Corbett, Barnabus Wornoff, and many others who offered us guidance and support.

Glitchaos is more than a student film to me. It's a personal milestone and proof that with the right team and determination, anything is possible. I can’t wait to share what’s next.

Glitchaos Title Sequence

Here is the title sequence for our short film “GLITCHAOS”.
The team worked on this from scratch for 3 weeks, including sequence week.
This was an amazing learning experience for us as we learned about what to and what not to do for our final film. Even though it was our first time working on a group project like this, we still managed to achieve what we set out to do, which was make something that works!
