As my 21 day sabbatical comes to end, I want to share a few lessons I learned.

1. Take the break. You need more than a 2 day weekend to reset yourself.

2. Reevaluate who and what you allow to shift into the next chapter in your book.

3. Appreciate the small things. Walk around the block, sit on the porch, listen to people laugh.

4. Manage your grind. You will achieve everything you put your mind to at the right time, not your time. You don’t have to grind yourself to the ground.

5. Set timely and realistic goals. Working on everything all the time leaves room for nothing to be complete.

6. Live. The deadlines, meetings and pay will be always be there. But your child won’t always be a child. & Your parents won’t always be here. Take a break and just live.

As I return to work with a restored mind and meaning, I pray that I continue to balance my expectations for myself and the world. I pray you find your balance and blessed with the means & village to take a break.

Signing off,
Charlie

P.S. I’m really her and I know it now *rubs hands like Birdman* 😉!

When you’re tired of birthday dinners, sections at the club, and Atlanta, go to the booth 🎙️

Charlie’s Birthday Studio Takeover 🎧🎤🔥!!!

Major shoutout to all my folks for showing up and getting in the booth with me! I can’t releases the whole song cause of the old folks lol but it’s a triple double platinum track!

We did it for fun! I don’t own rights to the music so Webbie don’t sue me 🤭😂. #studioparty #amateur #freestyleflow #studiosession
