My love letter to 2024 💌

This year was a whirlwind. My heart was overflowing with love the entire year. Thank you for the best year yet. This year has brought me many endings but many new beginnings as well. Not only did I perform my last musical and my last choir concert this year, I also began new performances in college. I said goodbye to my old self and some friends but said hello to the best friend group I could ask for and said hello to a new and improved maddie. I’ve learned so much and I’m forever thankful for the journey that 2024 took me on. I never gave up even when I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore. Instead, I pushed through and I’m making it better than I thought I would. If my January self could see where I am now, she would be jumping for joy. I’m at one of my dream schools studying what I’ve wanted to study my entire life. I made it through ALL of those awful college applications and auditions. I graduated a valedictorian. Now, I look back on the year I’ve had and genuinely just say “wow.” I’m blessed with an amazing family, friend groups (home and at school), and an amazing college. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for me. Happy new year 🩵🩵
