This last quarter asked more of me than I ever expected. Physically, mentally, and emotionally, it became a season of showing up even when my body fell behind, learning patience with myself, and accepting support when I needed it most. There were days when simply getting through felt heavy, and finishing the quarter felt uncertain.

What carried me through was community. My cohort, who showed up day after day and walked alongside me through the hard moments, and my friends outside of school who checked in, encouraged me, and reminded me I wasn’t alone. Their presence became a steady source of hope during a time that often felt overwhelming.

I chose this song because its themes reflect how I’ll remember this quarter. There were moments when everything felt heavy or unclear, and it was often the smallest things, someone checking in, showing up, or believing in me, that made it possible to keep going. This season wasn’t about being saved or pushed through, but about walking alongside one another, sharing the weight, and getting through it together. It reminded me that when things feel darkest, support doesn’t have to be loud to matter. I don’t think I would have reached the end of this quarter without the people around me.
