Let me explain why makeup artistry is so much more than just makeup application…

From editorial and creative looks to soft glam, every makeup look requires an understanding of colour theory, skin preparation, blending techniques, facial structure and how to bring a vision to life.

Through my experience working on editorial shoots, I’ve learned that makeup artistry has endless possibilities when you allow yourself to think freely.

As a PRO Makeup Artist, my goal is always to combine technical skill with creativity to create looks that complement the individual, the occasion and the overall vision.

Because makeup isn’t about following the same formula every time — it’s about understanding the artistry behind it 🎨

Is it too late to share this experience with y’all?

September was a wild month in so many ways, but I’m so grateful I got to be part of this beautiful collection, thanks to @tobi.tobe_ and @sineadkellystyle

Thank you WAHALA (@wahala_ie) for inviting me back, and for creating space for conversations around craft, Yoruba identity, art-making, and the stories we carry through what we create.

And for celebrating Black and Brown beauty so beautifully. What a night. What a joy to be part of it. 🖤✨

Still thinking about this one!
