A huge milestone for Geelong!

We were absolutely stoked to supply marquees for this inaugural event and help to get the site ready for all the action.

A big thanks to our friends at @_o2events for trusting us with the essential infrastructure for a such a huge day! 💙

Big congrats to everyone who ran, volunteered and worked behind the scenes to make this event so successful!

Apparently the fastest way to a sub-3:30 is bombing down the descents and simply pretending the brake levers don't exist 😂

Some seriously fast descents at Amy's Gran Fondo and those crosswinds made a few of them spicier than they look on camera.

What's the fastest you've ever gone on a bike? 👇

We held our @gpc_squad & @gpc_ballarat squad awards at @waurnponds_estate over the weekend. Athletes flew in from NSW and drove down from Ballarat and Melbourne to come together and celebrate a fantastic season. We had guest speaker Magnus Michelsson from @32gi_australia chat all things nutrition as well as his own impressive athletic achievements and we celebrated all our category winners. Congratulations to our award finalists, winners and a huge thankyou to our squad sponsors who provided around $6000 worth of prizes. Your support of the squad is truly appreciated ♥️.

Otways Challenge Epic Ride. 204 kms.
It’s a great ride. If it were up to me we’d be finding more hills to climb, but it’s all good. I missed the sub 7 hour time goal, but I wasn’t far off at all. Next year we’ll smash it.

@thepedla SuperCARGO Bibs 🩷 Keeping me going all day everyday!!

Great Ocean Classic & Otway 204

Signed up Wednesday.
Broken fibula recently.
Decided riding from home was the most sustainable way to the start line, surely 300km is a great idea.

Got dropped. Twice....
Headwind tried to end me...
Rear wheel actually almost ended me..
Sat on the side of the road ready to call it.
until a mate said ‘nah, you CANNOT quit 12km out bro.’
So we didn’t!

Not a planned ride but definitely one im proud of despite not getting that sub 6:30

We go again next year😅

Well organised event by @_o2events

There was no better feeling than crossing that line at the @greatoceanclassicride 204km ride.
Feeling a niggle in the knee at the 90km mark then the pain set in with 100km to go. That last 25km felt like it went forever, pulling out at this point wasn’t an option even though it crossed my mind. My goal going into this was to go Sub 7 hours, at the 100km I was on track to get it done in 61/2 hours until the pain from my knee started to become worse. From Lorne back to Torquay was all about keeping my average speed above 30kmh.
End result…. 6H47mins 🤘knee 2 days after…. Still sore 💩.

What an absolute honour to host another year of the Herald Sun / Transurban Run For The Kids to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
A big thanks to my amazing Active Beats MC’s who joined me at the start line and finishing line.
Such a heart warming event with over 30,000 people walking, running or rolling for such a great cause.
