We’ve just received such a special delivery and I just couldn’t wait to show you! Hannah of @_o_moon makes the coolest garments all from vintage textiles and we couldn’t be more in love with this incredible batch she’s made just for us 😍 each piece is one of a kind and we are thrilled to have a this beautiful selection for you guys. They will be working their way online over the next couple of days so watch this space 👀 but you may have to fight me for the green jacket!

Alittle ALOT DELIGHTED with this fringed quite fabulous jacket (one-offs, handmade from pure wool blankets) a first-time purchase from @_o_moon who has been on my radar for a while and am SO impressed with the design, quality, everything 🙌 And gorgeous, thoughtful packaging, always a sucker for it 🤤 These are selling out quick, are perfect for autumn and today the temperature dropped quite dramatically so will be wearing out tonight whoop! 🍂🍷🫒

A good day for making, meeting and looking a little closer.

Our first Makers Market brought together makers, artists, curious minds and plenty of good conversations in the Black Barn.

On Saturday, Nat Melton, Executive Director of the Crafts Council, hosted a conversation with Sophie Sellu, Suzie de Rohan Willner of TOAST and Euan Roberts.

On Sunday, The Rosa Mag hosted a second conversation with George Amici, Emmely Elgersma and Mia Sylvia.

Alongside the panels, the Black Barn was full of makers, workshops, things to look at and things to take home.

Thank you to everyone who came along, and to the makers, speakers and Crafts Council for being part of it.

100-150 billion garments produced annually, an estimated 40% of those (40-60 billion 🤯) are NEVER sold....you bet we need to celebrate and support the insane talent and creativity of people making it their literal business to re:create and re:imagine fashions waste for a usable, long lasting future.

I have a list with hundreds of incredible rework and upcycling artists, this is by no means an exhaustive list but it is part 1 of a showcase to show you that if these independents can make it their business to collectively contribute to solving fashions waste problem, and make the most beautiful wearable works of art, then WHY ARE THE BIG BRANDS NOT PLAYING THEIR PART?

If you want to support and grow the fair, innovative, dedicated and truly talented, insanely creative side of the fashion industry then THIS. IS. IT 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

All brands tagged to discover and inspire you. The industry can be so much more if we prioritise reinvention, repair and reuse of what already exists.

So happy with how our ‘Recipes of Courage’ cookzine turned out for this year’s Refugee Week together with Refugee Buddy Project.
 30 beautiful recipes from our community - from breads, curries and dips to pilafs, puddings and marinades. Food carrying memories and meaning to cook, share and enjoy together.

Thanks to all who contributed with recipes, illustrations and photos and to Becca Graham for kicking off the design and to Chiara Perano for the writing on the cover.

We still have a very few left which are now being sold for £5 with all profits going to Refugee Buddy Project. These can be found at The Crown, Play and The Bathing Hut Cafe while stocks last.

Last night we gathered together in Alexandra Park Greenhouse to enjoy great food, community and conversation to mark the launch of Refugee Buddy Project’s Recipes of Courage initiative for Refugee Week 2026.

Flowers were arranged by Lidiia Khramenkova having been grown by Little Gate whilst local chefs brought dishes prepared and shared with love. Drinks were kindly donated by Something & Nothing, extra virgin olive oil from GLUG and plates by Enamel Falconware.

Huge thanks to Becca Graham and Hannah O Moon for helping organise, and all the amazing cooks - Bathing Hut Cafe, Ritual, Play Cafe, Khalid’s Kitchen, Lidiia, Guacamaya’s Nest - who donated their time and culinary skills to ensure guests left with full bellies and happy hearts 🧡
