Sometimes the most tender part of the party is the moments before it kicks off. Final touches to space, looks and faces, fluttering anticipation, moments of gratitude for that which we are about to give and receive.

⭐︎

We have realised that we may never be able to define exactly what the future holds for Object Merchant.

So, we’ve decided to lean into what we do best – experimentation, reflection and building community.

Soon you will be invited to experience some other facets of what we want to share.

Stay tuned ⭐︎

It feels wonderful to be releasing new music again for the first time since 2020. Massive thank you to those who have listened and supported my new single 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳／ 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵

Here are a few outtakes from a shoot last December. Thank you Joe and Jake for making me laugh and feel at ease (I’m very camera shy!)

Looking forward to sharing more with you soon ♥️

I am so thrilled and proud to be releasing new music today.

𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳／ 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵

A melody arrived unexpectedly during a quiet moment alone, I quickly recorded it in my car before it slipped away. It carried a weight that called for simplicity in harmony, structure, and arrangement which unfolded with ease at the piano. I didn’t need to make it bigger than it was, it felt effortless piecing it together letting the feeling lead.

What emerged was a tender and honest expression of self that foreshadowed a profound life shift. Looking back, it feels like a kind of diary entry — something my subconscious was trying to process before I fully understood it.

This is the first single from my upcoming studio album 𝘖𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢. Forever grateful to Flora, Erica and Madison for bringing this to life.
