🏡 INTRODUCING KWETU 🪩
~~~Swahili for “our home, our place.”
A new home for the Afro-diaspora in Auckland.
A recurring space to come together, connect, dance, discover and celebrate the sounds that have travelled with us. 🌍
From Afrobeats & Amapiano to Afrohouse, Afrotech, Afroswing, R&B, Dancehall, African classics & beyond - KWETU is a celebration of the sounds of the diaspora, wherever home may be.
And for our very first gathering, we’re bringing together a lineup ready to soundtrack the journey. 🔊
Come as you are.
Stay for the music.
Find your people.
Welcome home. 🏠🤎
