Tobana — summer closing 🌴
One last one for summer before we make a comeback with our winter editions.

We’re turning the record store into our little oasis so we can gather and spend a Friday together before summer slips away.

Our good friends from Omato are joining us from Berlin, taking us from downtempo into all corners of dance music. Plus, Idilay on deck, always bringing those musical surprises.

Food by The Jamaican Eight 🇯🇲

Come start the weekend right and sing out the summer with us.

See you Friday ♥️

Sossego Listening Session @ FREIE KIOSK KULTUR

On July 30, @sossego.berlin joins @fkk_wien for a special listening session curated by @_omato_

Named after the Brazilian concept of sossego—a state of calm and ease—the project creates space for slowing down, connecting and listening together beyond the usual party setting. For this special edition, the collective will also bring their own sound system, creating an intimate listening experience designed around warmth, presence and community.

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, @lysia__________ brings a rich musical background shaped by house, disco, reggae, soul and Latin music. Having played renowned Brazilian festivals including Rock the Mountain, Coala Festival and Universo Paralello, her sets are warm, rhythmic and deeply rooted in Brazil’s vibrant musical culture.

Joining her is @kax.m, a passionate collector with roots in Berlin, Vienna and Mannheim. His selections move through dub, kraut, wave and other overlooked corners of music, always tied together by a strong sense of groove and a knack for uncovering forgotten treasures.

Sossego Social Club at Blaue Stunde | 31.5., 14:00-22:00

Hungry for an easy Sunday? Come relax with us! On 31st May we are having our first Sossego Social Club, hosted by our friends @blauestundeberlin

What can you expect?

Delicious Tyrolian dumplings by Tim’s Tiroler Knödel,
a breeze of a soundtrack from @2stepbec , @jonaskoeksal and @logidy ,
and a cosy chill-out space with a Hi-Fi soundsystem by @o2musicnl at the best sunset spot in Berlin.

What is Sossego?

Sossego is a project from the @_omato_ stable. In Brazilian day to day language, Sossego describes a kind of relaxed easiness. It’s about simplifying life and cutting out the noise that distracts you. In that spirit we want to bring people together and create social spaces through music, outside of parties. For us that means to strengthen our community and support real-life collaboration in times where more and more interaction happens online.

Long story short, this hits your spot? Then let’s grab a drink together 🌞

April was all about listening.

No stage, no phones, no distractions — just a room, a turntable, listening and quiet conversations. Each night unfolded through different selectors, sharing stories through sound in an intimate setting. Thank you to everyone who joined and made it what it was, and special thanks to @new_fidelity_ for the sound system.
